Stories from the Oceans of the Pasefika

Our Vision
Tala Mai Moana promotes and teaches culture, dance, language, and creative arts from the South Pacific through in-person and online classes. Incorporating Hawai'ian, Māori, Tahitian, and Samoan traditions, we educate students about the core values of history, family, storytelling, belonging, and community.
We pay homage to our past ancestry, present activators, and future generations—instilling respect, love, and support through the sharing of these sacred cultures in modern times and spaces.
Community dance classes that connect dance and history to promote cultural identity, learning, and enrichment.
Learn the fundamentals of Pacific languages—introducing youth and beginners to words, culture, history, and ancestral stories.
Artistic workshops introducing handicrafts, weaving, lei making, and other artmaking activities for various age groups.
"Whether you are a beginner, recreational learner, or advanced performer, we offer classes tailored to your learning needs."
